Donation Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Priyadham Annapurna Sewa Sansthan. We aim to ensure a smooth donation experience. This policy explains when and how a refund may be issued for donations made through our website.

1) Scope

  • This policy applies to online donations made in INR (₹) through our website/payment gateway.
  • Cash, cheque, or in-kind contributions are not covered here. Please contact us for offline corrections.
  • We use reputable third-party processors (e.g., Razorpay) for secure payments; their terms also apply.

2) When a refund may be issued

  • Duplicate donation: You unintentionally completed the same donation more than once.
  • Transaction error: You were charged but the website/payment page showed failure or timed out.
  • Incorrect amount: A clear typographical entry error (e.g., ₹20,000 instead of ₹2,000).
  • Unauthorized use: Suspected fraud on your instrument (please also contact your bank/provider immediately).

3) When a refund may not be possible

  • Voluntary donations that have already been utilized for charitable activities, unless caused by a transaction error or duplicate charge.
  • Requests received beyond a reasonable window (we generally accept refund requests within 2 calendar days of the donation date).

4) How to request a refund

Please email us with the following details so we can locate your transaction quickly:

  • Your full name and contact number
  • Donation date and amount
  • Payment method (Card/UPI/Net-banking) and last 4 digits (for Card)
  • Gateway reference/Transaction ID (if available)
  • Reason for refund request

5) Processing & timelines

  • Once verified, we aim to initiate refunds within 7 working days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original source (same card/UPI/bank account) used for the donation.
  • Your bank/payment provider may take an additional 5–7 working days to reflect the amount.
  • Where the payment gateway/bank does not return their charges, we will refund up to the net amount credited to us.

6) Receipts, 80G & corrections

  • On successful donation, an e-receipt is issued instantly to your email.
  • If we approve a refund, the original receipt becomes void. Please do not use it for any tax claim.
  • 80G eligibility: CIT (Exemptions), Lucknow - Approval No. 2019-20/80G/10773 (28/11/2019); revalidated via Form 10AC order dated 28/05/2021, valid AY 2022-23 to AY 2026-27.
  • PAN on record: AADTP8431F.
  • Need a correction (name/address/PAN) on your receipt? Write to us within 7 days and we’ll re-issue an updated receipt.

7) Chargebacks

If you intend to raise a chargeback, we request that you email us first. Most issues are resolved faster by us confirming details with the gateway/bank and issuing a direct refund where appropriate.
